Leuthardt | Weihnachtsmarkt
On Friday, I met up with this fun family at the Esslingen am Neckar Weihnachtsmarkt for a relaxed holiday session right in the middle of the market. With hot drinks in hand and the stalls glowing around us, it felt more like a casual night out than a formal photo session—which always makes for the best photos.
We wandered through the market, stopping at a few favorite spots along the way. The kids were all in, checking out the treats, watching the carousel, and staying warm between sips of cocoa. Those in-between moments of laughing, sharing snacks, and just being together are what made this session so special.
This is one of my favorite ways to document families during the winter here in Germany—simple, seasonal, and full of sweet moments. I’m so glad I got to capture this family’s Friday night at the Christmas market.
