Friday Photo Tip | Eyes
When photographing people or animals, a solid rule of thumb to follow is to focus on the eyes. Whether you’re taking photos on your phone or a digital camera, you always have the option to choose a place for the camera to focus. On your camera, you simply tap the screen on the spot you want to be in focus, while on a digital camera you’ll use your focus point.
When we see a face, we are naturally drawn to the eyes and this holds true in photographs as well. And of course there are artistic exceptions, but as a general rule, your photo will be more appealing and technically accurate if you choose to focus on the eyes!
