Elizabeth & Brian | Calw
My last session of the year was this Saturday in Calw with newlyweds Elizabeth and Brian! They married this past October, and spending time with them felt less like a photoshoot and more like being invited into a beautiful chapter of a love story that has been steadily unfolding.
Elizabeth and Brian are wonderfully opposite in the best way — a true city-girl-meets-country-boy story. Brian is a third-generation wheat farmer living in Washington state, while Elizabeth’s path brought her to him from a very different background. They met on a blind date, and from that moment on, their story simply clicked.
Calw provided such a fitting backdrop for their session. The historic stone walls, half-timbered houses, and quiet pathways mirrored their grounded, easy connection. Nothing felt rushed or forced — just two people enjoying a walk, a laugh, and the comfort of one another. Whether strolling through the old town or pausing beneath the arches, their affection showed in the smallest moments.
Sessions like this are a reminder that love doesn’t have one look or one timeline. Elizabeth and Brian are simply two people who found each other, built a life they love, and continue to choose one another every day. Photographing them in Calw was an honor, and I’m so glad they trusted me to capture this season of their story.
