Yesterday’s Heirloom Session in Claw was such a lovely celebration of family. The Adamsons have called Germany home for seven years collectively, and as they prepare to enter a new chapter (with their oldest daughter about to graduate high school) they wanted to capture this special season together.
They chose a session location to reflect their time here: surrounded by German architecture, nature, laughter, and love. Their boxer, Dolly, joined in and completely stole the show—so well behaved, calm, and clearly adored by everyone. I always love when families bring their pets along; they add such an authentic touch of personality and warmth to the images.
Between poses and laughter, they shared some of their favorite travel memories and tips from their years in Europe. From London travel tips, to their favorite travel destinations while they’ve been here, you could feel how much these experiences have shaped their family story.
It was such an honor to photograph them and preserve these memories before life takes them in new directions. Sessions like this remind me why I love what I do—capturing love, connection, and the legacy families create together over time.
